Jose Perez sanctioned by Sal's NBL Games Review Co Jose Perez sanctioned by Sal's NBL Games Review Commissioner following April 30 clash❗

The GRC has reviewed multiple incidents involving Otago Nuggets player Jose Perez during and after the game vs. Auckland Tuatara. Perez was cited for:

👉 Excessive disputing of referee decisions

👉 Approaching an official aggressively post-game

The outcome:

🔹 $1,000 fine (reduced to $500 with early plea)
🔹 1-game suspension (suspended, pending no further referee-related incidents in 2025)

📌 Perez remains eligible for all team activities moving forward.

The Sal’s NBL Games Review Commissioner has handed The Sal’s NBL Games Review Commissioner has handed Will Hickey a 2-game suspension following an incident in the April 30 clash between the Auckland Tuatara and Otago Nuggets. 😔

Hickey was found to have made a seriously offensive comment toward a match official, bringing the game into disrepute. The suspension will apply to the next two games he's available for, after which he’ll be cleared to return to full team activities❗
